John Mottern is an award winning photojournalist who has traveled all over the world covering major stories for newspapers and magazines.
He won top awards for his war coverage in El Salvador for a series on "Children of War". From Bosnia to North Africa he has cover conflicts, politics, sports and all types of disasters. He worked in The White House Press Corp for Agence France-Presse covering both Clinton and Bush.
One passion over the last few decades has been issues surrounding the welfare and treatment of greyhounds and galgos. He continues this work through the support of the American European Greyhound Alliance.
